Filed under: General Blog Rant, Poker News & Views, Industry News — Mike @ 12:35 am

Poker news and viewsIsle of Man-based online gambling software developer, Microgaming, plans to unveil its latest poker software release at the International Casino Exhibition (ICEi) in late January 2008.

The poker revamp - including a complete table redesign - will be rolled out to the Microgaming Poker Network (of around 40 poker sites) early next year. Players will get the option to re-size tables, and a range of options are being introduced to better support the growing popularilty of multi-table play.

At PokerLabRat.com we’re especially looking forward to the enhanced “fishing” features - the new poker software lets you form better social networks.  The improved player calendar and pop-up hand history along with personalalizable avatars will be great too.

Microgaming CEO Roger Raatgever says, “Extensive player feedback has been at the heart of our development programme for this new poker software, which is why it delivers regardless of whether you are a novice or seasoned pro. By helping players get to the right tables, faster - and ensuring they have all the features necessary for a great all round experience when they are there - we are delivering for both the players and our operators.”

The top Microgaming based Poker sites we’ve tested and are happy to recommend to you are:
>>Doyles Room  (accepts players from around the world including US players from 39 States)>>Ladbrokes Poker (not on the Microgaming Poker Network but operating Microgaming Poker Software - one of Europe’s top poker destinations)
