Ladbrokes 3D Poker
Looking for online poker with a difference?
We downloaded and play tested Ladbrokes’ new 3D poker this week, and it is a stunner if you’re looking for eye candy. The purists in the PokerLabRat.com test team hated it with a vengeance as they really just want fast hands, good pots and great fishing.Bit if you’re not quite at that level yet, and want some good entertainment with your poker, then I recommend you check out a 3D poker table or two.
While other poker rooms let you change the colour of the virtual table felt if your’re lucky, and choose from a boring selection of screen icons or basic avatars - or even upload your own little graphic - at Ladbrokes 3D poker you get to create your own fully customised character.
‘Customise’ really does mean just that. How you look online, including eye color, facial features, clothing and accessories. Choose your gender, skin tone, and hair colour.
For a quick set up you can just get a random character assigned - or if you choose the ‘Freak‘ option, the computer will generate the weirdest, freakiest characters for you to choose from. Nasty.
And it all feels kinda like ‘Second Life’ as Ladbrokes 3D poker is set in a stylish 3D casino where you can change the camera angles to suit your taste, zoom in on players and express tells and even emotions.
You can scratch your chin while you ponder your hand, punch the air or just put your feet up. Yes - you can even show off with some ‘Chip tricks’ too.
Standard poker room chat moves on in Ladbrokes 3D Poker to a ‘Taunt’ feature where you can be a pain to other player with actions to move all in, tell them to hurry up, stare a player down or point out their fish qualities.
You’ve nothing to lose - except some time! I suggest you have a look.
Visit Ladbrokes Poker to try out the new 3D poker. (Sorry, no USA residents can join)
