Online gambling software developer Microgaming today unveiled its new online poker lobby. This means that you’ll be able to get to your poker tables faster and easier.

The innovation is currently being rolled out across over 40 top poker rooms on the Microgaming Poker Network.

Click for detailed reviews of these online poker roomsThe poker sites we have tested and reviewed through PokerLabRat.com include:
Bet365 Poker (also known as Poker365, and draing from a huge sportsbook membership)
Spin Palace Poker (a long standing member of the Microgaming Poker Network with oen of the top Slots venues on the net SpinPalaceCasino.com)
32Red Poker (UK owned, publicly listed specialist online gaming operator)
Doyles Room (Home of poker greats, Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro)
Canbet Poker (this Aussie sportsbook is a recent convert to Microgaming Poker network off the Ongame Network)

So what’s new?

Updated lobby features include a set of flexible and intuitive options that apparently “will appeal to new and experienced poker players alike”. The ‘Quick lobby’ provides a speedy solution for Single Table Tournaments and an ‘Advanced Lobby’ allows players to see all games in the same view, enabling them to spend even more time at the table.

Other useful options include ‘Rabbit cam’ and ‘Keep folded cards visible’ features to help players understand the odds better. A ‘Fold and Show’ feature now allows players to show those great lay-downs!

Improvements in the player-defined customisation also enable players to filter tables, game types and stakes, while the introduction of a new navigation bar; redesigned accounts page and a day view for the calendar have all been designed specifically to respond positively to player feedback. A new buddy system ‘My Buddies’ also enables players to select and add players to their buddy list, as well as track them.

The tournament lobby will let you see Betting Structures - levels, blinds, antes, minimum required; Prizes - placed paid, percentages, total prize pool; All Players - name, place, prize, stack, table; tournament description and the Tournament Dashboard, showing player’s position, next break, levels, current level and players remaining. All very cool.

Launching the new lobby, Roger Raatgever, CEO, Microgaming said, “The Microgaming Poker Network continues to go from strength to strength, both in terms of the quality of operators we power and the technology we deliver. This new poker lobby is the culmination of months of player feedback, because ultimately, it’s our operator’s players we are here to serve. There are a host of new additions and cutting edge features, providing extra value and an enhanced playing experience - we believe this poker lobby has it all.”
