Just how low can you drag a poker promotion?
I think the award for the WORST poker room promotion of the year should go to Victor Chandler of VCPoker. (Although Sun Poker has a truely crap promotion too, but that’s another blog!)
You’d think that after over 60 years in gambling entertainment that Victor Chandler’s marketing team could do better than their current ‘Try to crack the Poker Face!’ competition. I used to associate the VC brand with a bit of class. What a joke. This promotion has downloadable video compilations of desparate wanna bes doing stupid stuff to make a so called ‘poker face’ smile. (…and I thought we were here to make some money playing poker?)
Obviously VCPoker are not going for ‘class’ - perhaps they’ve decided that if you can’t beat it, join it (ie the Internet is predominantly a medium for porn anyway?)
If you don’t wish to be ‘entertained’ by semi and fully naked losers jiggling their balls, screwing stuffed animals and stripping naked, do not visit the link off the VC Poker site. Even better, if you do visit and don’t like it - don’t play poker at VC Poker!
