USING CREDIT CARDS FOR ONLINE POKER DEPOSITS
Using Credit Cards for online gambling is becoming more difficult due to legal restrictions for residents of certain countries & specific Card Scheme rules.
In general :
1. Mastercard customers are not able to withdraw winnings back to your MasterCard. (ie you can deposit funds but need to use an alternative
withdrawal method). Exception: Some UK issued Mastercards will still allow both deposits and withdrawals to/from gambling accounts.
2. Visa customers with cards issued in Australia, China, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Malaysia, NZ, South Korea & USA often can't
withdraw funds back to their cards.
3. Where you are allowed to withdraw back to a credit card often you can only withdraw an amount up to or equal to that you deposited with
that credit card (so any other funds in your account - winnings - can only be withdrawn via an alternative payment method).
4. Credit card deposits usually incur a fee of 1.5-3% of the deposit amount.
