Fulltilt Poker is Aruba-based and established in 2004. Kolyma Corporation, A.V.V Full Tilt's operator, is regulated and licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, Canada. Full Tilt’s financial stability is hard to determine but they have a sizeable and growing playerbase and are serious about information privacy and security having invested in 256-bit SSL encryption for all financial transactions. Their audit & security policies and info relating to random number generation are laid out plainly on site. FullTilt's rake at 5% is on the high side of "industry average". The max rake cap is lowered when there are less players in a hand.
Our test team found registration and using a poker account easy at Fulltilt Open a FullTilt Poker account with Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Neteller, Moneybookers, InstaCash, FirePay, Click2Pay, ClickandBuy, FPS ePassporte and cash transfer. MoneyGrams and Pre-paid Visa are easiest for US players at present. Minimum Deposit: $50. Cash out is simple to your Visa Card, or any of the e-wallet options Check and wire transfer withdrawals available too. The usual Credit Card rules apply - especially for US players. Cashouts at FullTilt Poker are good & quick, within 2 days or faster using e methods. If you have hassles depositing or withdrawing due to bank restrictions email the Full Tilt support crew - they'll help out & suggest 'work arounds' to make it easy
Why not learn from the best in the game? Fulltilt Poker boasts a stable of pros you can play. FullTilt has all the features for seasoned poker players but also offers start-up tips and some help for those who need it. If you need more help however, your only choice is email (no phone or live chat) but they can answer questions in minutes. Some of our test team however have waited days...in fact one query is still outstanding after a month! Obviously very much a remote Internet customer experience. If your need the personal touch with your poker we recommend you try Bet365 Poker or CarbonPoker.com!
FullTilt's software is unique - and purpose built for online Poker - not adapted from Casino or a rendition of in-the-flesh poker play. It is also much more like playing in a comic strip than most sites. Thankfully it's customisable - you can chose your own poker room background (fancy a tropical island backdrop?) & change your avatar and its emotions.
A great feature is that you can rotate the table so you are always sitting at the center position - excellent for managing multiple tables. The usual features of hand history, statistics, player search, and a removable chat window are all there. The software is safe, stable, and runs quickly. Newly released software lets you remove all avatars too - great!
Full Tilt Poker released two major changes to their poker room late Feb 2008: the addition of Tournament Dollars (T$) & an Auto Top-Up feature for cash games. There were also a couple of smaller additions, including the addition of a "Sit Out Next BB" box in ring games & the ability to view Player Notes in both the Main and Tournament lobbies. All very useful stuff.
FulltiltPoker.com is great for the more adept player and beginners should stick to the lower stakes tables. Competition is surprisingly hard at FullTilt. Choosing the right table to sit at makes a big difference but easy games can always be found. Some consider that softer games are found when a professional sits in to play. Loose play as everyone wants to "scalp" the pro? Too busy chatting? The pros are not standoffish and seem happy to chat.
NOTE: PokerLabRat.com tested 170 poker rooms this quarter and rejected or failed 93% of them. FullTilt Poker passed with 85 out of a possible 100 points.
This review is not the formal site analysis, just a high level summary of the key aspects we like and don't like about FullTilt Poker.
FullTiltPoker's player incentives mainly focus on guaranteed tournament prizes. More than 8 million in prizes each week with major payouts - one Sunday tournament is $350,000, with daily $8,000 to $50,000 tourneys. A $1m monthly guaranteed. Fancy your share of $8 million in prizes each week? Like to play at multiple poker tables? Why not try a Full Tilt Daily Double? 3 tournaments run each day for great Progressive Jackpot prizes.
FullTilt Poker loyalty points can be cashed in for FullTilt merchandise (shirts, caps, etc you see the pros wear) as well as used as stake money or tournament entry fees.
Full Tilt's Race Track View - customise your table for a more streamlined look plus the choice of avatars or no avatars for those sick of the cartoons.
Latest Game Features:
High-limit ante ring games, synchronized tournament breaks & new icons for ring games.

Full Tilt Poker - WHAT's HOT
US players welcome, lots of innovation (eg Podcasts, videocasts and promos), big action at all levels, unique easy-to-play software, learn from the pros - lots of chat, tips and lessons, the professional way they handled recent 'bot' issues
Full Tilt Poker- WHAT's NOT
Few free freerolls (require action points), so busy that tournaments and tables fill ultra fast, the 'loud' poker merchandise takes way too many poker points to earn with electronic gear not available outside the US
